I was trying to help a co-worker who was on vacation by getting a stray cat she was feeding fixed for her. The shelter I volunteer at boarded it for her while she was gone. The kitty tested positive for FIV. Now my co-worker does not want to take it back, she was feeding it outside.
I am going to have to pay to board her; the shelter cannot keep it any longer. I cannot keep her, I am way over my limit for kitties and just had two stray mothers with kittens show up at my back door in the last month.
Her name is Bianca and she is about a year old and the sweetest kitty in the world. Soild white, fluffy tail. (I cannot post a photo here- does not work). Poor thing has been through a lot and just needs someone to love her. FIV is not a death sentence and they can stay healthy if kept indoors.
Please email Deborah at [email protected] if you know of anybody willing to take on an FIV kitty. Atlanta GA area. Thanks!
