First Pregnancy - should I be worried?

Today we gained 7g. Bub is starting to learn how to find a nipple and latch and mum has learnt to toilet him

Splendid!

Him being petite, he will perhaps not reach this 10g+  every day, so 7 sounds good for a beginning.  Although it will be hopefully somewhat more in the coming days.

I'm happy with 7g for sure. I know it could have been better, but with how touch and go things have been I can't complain

Will be interesting to see if she sleeps with him or insists on sleeping right next to my face again lol.

It's now day six.. Silly question, but is it normal for a kittens eyes to look to big for its head? He's just started to open his eyes. Otherwise he is perfectly healthy

They eyes ARE big. If you see at cat skulls, you can notice the eye holes are quite a big part of the head skeleton structure.

Also, quite a few kittens seems stirring, at least on pics, doesnt they?

so unless they are really protruding, on the verge of popping out, I shouldnt worry.

Glad to hear he is healthy and thriwing!   

How much does he gain every day?

Phew. I'd rather ask a silly question than worry lol.

Apart from the first day he has gained at least 10g a day, Sometimes up around 20g.

Mum is booked in to be spayed 24th of April

Booked kitty into the vets today as he lost weight Mon, only gained 6g Tuesday then lost again yesterday. Unfortunately he didn't make it through the day for his appointment Tigger is so sad after loosing the only one left.
