First major winter storm and I am terrified!

I completly misssed this thread the first time round....but i am so happy that all kitties are happy and now healthy

I'm pretty sure it was a groundhog. There's a burrow far in the back of my property, and I have in the past seen all 3 of them "sniffing around" it and poking their heads inside. Most cat wounds I have seen are either claw scratches or punctures...but the wounds I saw on Scout's hind leg once it was shaved were more like uneven, deep tears.

I've tried to trap the groundhog and move it away but the durned critter is smart and doesn't go for any of the traps...and I absolutely won't kill it (I think it's a she with babies).

Yeah, that would be because we folks down here in West Virginia got all your winter weather!


But on another note: I'm so happy for what you did for these kitties. We need to see pictures!
