Hello!
I'm Breella, Bree for short is fine with me. I'm a college student going into zoology and a foster for the Central New York Cat Coalition. Aside from the countless fosters that come into my life every year I have two cats of my own. Oliver and Milo.
Oliver is a 1 year old FEMALE orange tabby (I know, but I LOVE the name). I spotted Oliver when I took a visit to another fosters house and fell in love with her. She is indoor/outdoor and loves to bring in her conquests as a show of affection (much to my amusement, and the disgust of my boyfriends mother!)
Milo is a 8 month old orange tabby male. My boyfriend's mother got a phone call one day about a litter of kittens at the garbage dump. The mother had disappeared and they were told we had a lactating mother who might take them in, and so we did. Milo found a soft spot in my heart after one of his litter mates, whom I bottlefed because the foster queen rejected, died. Milo is a very smart cat, he plays fetch and comes when I call him.
We share our home with my Bearded Dragon, my boyfriend's cat, Shadow: Shadow is a true mixbreed. She's got long fur in the front, short fur in the back and a spotty tail. She's sort of black with some grey patching and IMO she radiates the allycat stereo type.
And upstairs from our apartment is where my boyfriend's mother and most of the fosters live.
I've had cats most of my life, and even tried my hand at Pre-Veterinary Medicine-- which I found to be rather hard and decided to shelve that goal for the more attainable (and much more fun) of becoming a ZOOKEEPER! WHOO HOO!
