I did the other night using Turbo Tax. Cost me $50 dollars just to filed federal and state online and have them direct deposited. What a rip.

Hopefully I get them back by 2/2/2006 as promised.

Anybody else get them out of the way yet?

I worked two jobs last year too. I got lucky and got them right away. I have to try to save all of that money for Vegas though.

I've only received one of two W2s. The one I'm missing is from my previous company. They were typical of saying "Oops the person in charge forgot to send it out by the noted date."

I'll probably be done end of February/March.

Doesn't Turbo Tax still offer the $25 rebate for either state or fed filing online?

I haven't received my W2 or my 1098 for my second mortgage yet. So I'm at a standstill.

Got the 1098 on the first mortgage, but I think the mortgage dudes forgot about that lovely second mortgage sitting out there.

I'm going to Jackson Hewitt this year. Last year I went to Turbo Tax but I didn't get as much as I thought I should, plus I have to itemize due to huge hospital bills for my daughter's heart surgery & my hospitalization.

Oh, and of course, itemize the home improvement costs.

We own some Sub-S stock so we have to wait for additional stuff which I think comes around the beginning of march. Plus we have to always pay in (last yr hopefully!!) to the feds so we aren't in a hurry. DH is a CPA so he does all the ppwk.

We just filed ours for 2002, 2003 and 2004 last month. My husband hates doing taxes (we have an accountant actually do our taxes but he hates getting all the paperwork ready for the accountant so I do it for him). He usually only gets ours done every couple years.

I just received my W-2 and hopefully MOm is going to buy Turbo Tax this weekend. I bought last year and we switch years buying and both use the program. So hopefully I get everything done this weekend.

I will be very glad to have all that out of the way. Tax season is such a pain in the rear.

Not yet I dread it hubby is self employed ( lobsterman). And I have shoe boxes full of papers for deductions I have to go through. Then we have H and R block do it. Its to complicated for my poor brain to figure out with depreciation and all that fun stuff.
