Some of you will remember me from when I had Baz as a house guest. Unfortunately he went back to join his friends by the village bins, about a kilometre away from where I live. I go up to feed him every day. I have to give the other cats some food as well.
One of them that I call A D cat, because he leaps from one thing to another with a short attention span, had a bad wound on his back a couple of months ago. It seems to have healed up OK but he has lost all the fur in that area. It has got worse day by day and now you can see his shoulder blade completely bald. He has also lost fur on his head. I put Frontline on him a couple of weeks ago in case it is a flea allergy, it has made no difference. I have looked hard but can't see ringworm circles on him.
Does anyone have any idea what it could be? The other cats are unaffected at present, but I would hate him to have something which would spread through them all. Apart from his coat he seems lively and well.
Would appreciate any ideas.
