Feral Cat with Kittens (HELP)

Could any one tell me when they are going to be old enough to start eating real food and using a liter box?

They usually begin to try at about 4 weeks.  Its quite messy in the beginning, they wading through the food...

Orphans may be somewhat more late, as they dont have moms example.

Be sure the litterbox is clumpfree litter.
