Two years ago a young feral female was on my sister's porch. The cat lived in the vestibule of the house for over 2 weeks before she came in the house and has not left the house since. A Vet to Pet service came to the house and amputated her tail (apparently she was abused or somehow hurt). The vet then stated she was about 2 yrs. old then, although he could not do a complete exam he was thought he could see her ear was niched indicating that she was spayed. Perhaps TNR
After two years the cat still is not socialized – will not jump on lap, will not sleep in the room if anyone else is in the room, often hides for a day or more without being seen. She will play will the laser light, and a catnip toy.
Now she is either spraying or urinating in the house and not using the litter box.
Any ideas or help or encouragement???
