Yesterday, I was pretty sick so I spent all day in bed. Kiera came to lay with me and at first I was rubbing her tummy but as I was falling asleep I stopped but kept my hand on her tummy. She feel asleep too. At one point, I'm sure I felt something move. I pressed my hand down slightly and wiggled my fingers and I felt it again. I put my hand on the other side of her tummy (under her body) and could feel more movement there too (like 2 kittens-one on either side)
So either the kittens are moving or it's my wishfull thinking.
To prove to myslef that I wasn't delusional, I got my husband in a while later and had Kiera lay down and found the movement again and put his hand on her tummy. He felt something too and said "There's something moving in there"
Here's the weird part: 9 days ago, I had brought Kiera in to the vet as she wasn't eating and the vet "couldn't confirm she was pregnant" (she had an enlarged uterus but he could not feel any foetusus). How could we go from a vet not feeling anything to actual movement 9 days later ?
The movement felt like when I was pregnant: like a hand or elbow moving from one side to the other, then other times it was a smaller movement with a less rounder body part (a head or bottom ?)
So is or babies or am I nuts ?
