I have discovered that my kitten Nepheline will eat the "proper" amount of food if she is free-fed. If I feed her meals she only eats about half of what she should. My roommate has a two year old cat, which is eating different food. Nepheline gets kitten food (she is 5 months). So my question is: is there any way to let Nepheline eat her food freely but restrict the older cat? Anyone have experience with this? Nepheline is 5.6 pounds and Salsa is 8 so they both can pretty much get into the same sized spaces. Retinal scan???
