Hi there.

Just want to know how long in between do you feed your cats?

As im working from 8.30am to 5.30pm. The only thing I can do is feed when i wake up and when I get hm from work. I have to leave home by 7.30 so I will feed at 7am. When I reach home its gg to be 7.30pm so I am wondering is it ok if the cat cannot get any food between 12 hours? I do not want to starve the cat. I do not want to free feed kibble either. Thanks!

Adult cats can go 12 hours between feeds with no problem. It is what they get over 24 hours that matters more. Or you could invest in a battery operated cat feeder, that opens compartments with a timer. They are not very expensive. I have used those with great success.

I feed my cats canned 3 times per day. They get feed in the morning, dinner, and before I go to bed. They all do just fine without any kibble out between meals. You can always get a treat ball and put some freeze dried or other types of treats in there to cure boredom and for snacks while you are at work.
