Lord of the Rings Trilogy, Godfather Trilogy, Top Gun, Steel Magnolias, Cry Baby, and...oh there's way too much to list!
I have to admit I've never seen a Star Wars or Harry Potter movie.

My faves have always been Braveheart (I
Mel Gibson) and The Lion King. Two very different types of movies, lol. I love old Cary Grant & Audrey Hepburn movies, too.

I thought that movie was interesting but I had mixed feelings about the ending.

Hmmm, I see there's a lot of F&SF fans here
!

Of recent vintage: Pirates of the Caribbean, Lord of the Rings trilogy (I'm an Elf nut,) the Harry Potter films, and I'd be willing to bet I'm going to be adding The Chronicles of Narnia, The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe to that list.

Bit older, Star Wars IV and V, LadyHawke (guess where my handle comes from
!) and ... the Wallace and Gromit shorts! I understand there's going to be a full-length feature film with them sometime in the next year. I love good animation, especially a lot of the CGI stuff that's coming out now that has more broadly appealing scripts.

These are my absolute faves although honestly, I don't even have copies of the SW movies.

Ok, ready to laugh? I'm not much of a movie person but I have to say my favorite movies are (in no particular order) Princess Diaries II, Sister Act 1 & 2, and Sweet Home Alabama. But my ALL TIME favorite above allllllll other movies is White Christmas! I know it by heart!

that list would change for me all the time.

Some of my all time favorites right now:
- Live is Beautiful (I actually named my cat after the little boy in the movie: Joshua)
- Death to Smoochy (I know that one by heart)
- Amelie
- Monty Python's Life of Brian
- Ed Wood
- Sleepy Hollow
- The Shawshank Redemption
- Matilda (favorite kids movie!)

I'm probably forgetting a few...

For me it's Gladiator, some Star WarsÂ[emoji]174[/emoji] movies and some of the AliensÂ[emoji]174[/emoji] movies. I'll throw The Princess Bride in there too.

Hmm, I would have to say Monthy Python's The Holy Grail is about the funniest movie I've ever seen!

But here's some of my favorites:

Last of the Mohicans
Rockstar (yes, I said Rockstar!)
Old School
Steel Magnolias
Shawshank Redemption
Ace Ventura
Braveheart
The Sixth Sense
Signs (freakin' aliens made me check all my windows!)
Happy Gilmore
Austin Powers 2 (with Mini-me!)
Can't Hardly Wait
Better Off Dead

The Sixth Sense
That movie scared the hell out of me!!
I had to sleep with the lights on for weeks and I started having panick attacks after watching it.
I guess that means it was a pretty good movie but still...
I never want to see it again!!!!

oops... I forgot to remove some of the quote.

I meant that The Sixth Sense scared me... not Monty Python's

The best movies are the ones that evoke strong emotions for me.

-Titanic
-Saving Pvt Ryan
-Robin Hood, Men in Tights (**sniff**, very emotional ending)

Robin (to a blind Blinkin up in the watch tower):
Blinkin, what're you doing up there?
Blinkin:
Guessing. I GUESS no one's coming.

The African Queen

(Note: All three of these movies are older than I am.)

Loved all the Lord of the Rings, Harry Potters, original Star Wars trilogy, Jurassic Park, The Usual Suspects, The Ref, Braveheart. For classics: Casablanca, Gone with the Wind, To Kill a Mockingbird.

As for White Noise, I thought the premise was great, but I was really disappointed in the ending. From what I know of EVP, they're mostly children, and wouldn't be harmful to anyone. I've listened to some EVP tapes online, and it is really creepy, I just don't think the movie showed it accurately.
