Favorite Sound?

Whats your favorite sound?

Mine has to be Harley purring - definately!

And...

Rain at night before I go to sleep, its so peaceful!

High heels on cement/hard floors. I don't know why but I love the noise that they make!

What are yours?

Cats purrrring the sound of rain at night and laying in bed listening the the peepers!

The sound of Trouts little bell when she plays!! So cute!

(When she was sick at the vet, we took her collar off and it was on our coffee table..anytime we picked it up and the little bell jingled, we cried cuz we missed her and didn't know if she'd come home to us)

since we got Henri he doesn't talk hardly at all anymore, but its so sweet when he does. Its sounds like he's pretending to be a person.

I also really love it when I'm walking through my apartment building and I can hear people watching TV or talking or playing music. I don't know any of them, but it reminds me of when I lived in a dorm and times were a little friendlier.

AND its about to rain here! That will be nice as well.

Well as I opened this my cat started puking-that's definitley one that's not on my list!

Rain falling while I'm falling asleep, thunderstorms, if the thunder cracks aren't loud, the sound of a light chime blowing in the wind at a distance, the sound of loons, for sure! Crackling and popping of campfire. Waves slapping the side of a boat or the shoreline. Birds.

My favorite is when Henri starts doing that next to my head while I'm sleeping. A charming quality in a way.

Well, when you tap KC while he's sleeping he makes the cutest little "hmph" sound...

And sometimes Shermie will sit on the kitchen stool next to our oven (which is kind of reflective) and talk to himself.

That's always cute!

I know everyone else's said this, but I do love the sound of the rain. And I also enjoy live singing - our community has some excellant actors!

I have several noises that I love listening to.. some are a little strange, but this is what they are..

- Lucy purring right by my head.
- The kitties bathing themselves.
- The dogs when they drink water.
- When the dogs lick their paws or the carpet.
- The sound of heeled shoes clicking on tile floors.
- The sound of people typing.
- The sound of someone writing on a chalkboard.
- Rain.. when it's really loud.
- Thunder.

I'm sooo glad I'm not the only one who loves this sound!

Sometimes I wear heels to work just so I can hear the noise! It makes me happy

I love walking behind people who have heels on so I can listen to all the clicky sounds.. I don't know why, but I just love that sound!

Yup, purring is one of my favorite sounds

I also like the sound of rainfall as well.

Purring definitely. Toulouse has this really funny little chirp in addition to his purr... they happen at the same time

I like the waterfall noise! Love it..

and the other thing that I really love is the sound of DH's heart beating. I love it. Puts me right to sleep. It's so incredibly comforting.

The sound my Harley makes when i give it a handful.

Thunder storms.

Cats purring, snoring, washing...just about all their noises except litter tray ones and fur-balls

Birds singing in the garden.
