To Usva (1999 - November 22nd 2007)
Your life didn't start out all that good. You were abandoned in a forest with your siblings. That changed, when you came to my life.
You gave everyone so much love and were loved more than any living thing in return. You single handedly turned many cat haters to cat lovers with your beauty and kind nature. You were the wisest of all cats.
No one will sleep by my side anymore. No one will comfort me the way you did whenever I felt bad. No one will sabotage my working as boldly as you did because they want attention.
When we found out there was a cancer in your mouth, our world came tumbling down. You were supposed to be eternal, or at least die as an ancient granny.
I know you knew how much you were loved and hope you had a good life. You will be sorely missed by all the people who loved you and your friends Milla and Tilli.
Say hello to Timotei for me. See you when I get there.
She was my North, my South, my East and West,
My working week and my Sunday rest,
My noon, my midnight, my talk, my song;
I thought that love would last forever: I was wrong.
The stars are not wanted now; put out every one,
Pack up the moon and dismantle the sun,
Pour away the ocean and sweep up the woods;
For nothing now can ever come to any good.
