i have a hiding place
our cats are crazy for their fancy feast treats.

i used to feed it to them 2-3 times a week, but have since started giving it to them only once a week.

i don't know why but it didn't occur to me that it may not be the
best kind to give them (nutritionally)
it's the first kind i ever tried, and they love it... so, is this an okay addition to their diet?

we also give them Temptation treats from time to time.

what do you give your cats for treats?

any advice is appreciated

I give my cats Nutrience, Techni-Cal and Temptations treats
all the time. The first two are great nutritionally, but not the last one. My cats are addicted to Temptations! They love them so much! I have never heard of Fancy Feast cat treats!?

fancy feast is a canned wet food made by Friskies? or something like that..

i've been wanting to try something else (which is why
i've been giving them less & less for awhile now).

My cats are addicted to Temptations! They love them so much!
so are mine -- they simply go mad when they hear me get the bag

Well, if it's just a treat, the nutrition really isn't a factor. Whatever they like, you should give them as long as it's in moderation and is safe for them. Also, I have found that instead of spending the money on the store treats, when I cook chicken or steak, I save a little and cut it up into small peices for them. They really seem to enjoy that treat

I don't really pay too much attention to treats. I always have such a large supply! So much that sometimest hey get old before they are eaten and I have to throw them out.

My cats seem to love Pounce treats however, the soft ones that is.
I like to give them Pounce Complete (comes with added minerals and vitamins or something.)
So I consider that, like their little daily vitamine because I can't afford to get them a real one currently. =p

Overindulging is fine, as long as they don't look like a basketball from the top...LOL

LOL exactly!
I know with dogs treats are only suppose to be about 10% of their diet. I imagen that same rule follows with cats.
