So it's bath day for the boys. And for some reason Harvey's face has been extra stinky as of late. How do I go about washing his face come bath time without A) getting soap in his eyes B) making him furious (he hates water on his face/head). Usually when I give them baths I just skip the head. I have a waterless shampoo that I've applied to a washcloth and gently rubbed at his face, but that just isn't cutting it. Any advice?

You might try one of the cat wipes. They're like thick wetwipes and you would be able to control exactly where you're cleaning him to miss his eyes. He probably won't like it any better than a regular bath, though.

Use a wet washcloth. I use one when I have to bathe cats as 1) they generally don't see anything threatening in a washcloth and 2) it lets me wash faces and scrub some. It can be rinsed out and used to help rinse soap out of fur, too, and isn't quite as unnerving to more paranoid cats as a cup is.
