Yah that is what I was getting at. It is a sad thing people do and is very common in the US, many countries ban the procedure. Declawed cats can develop strange behavior issues because they lack one of their main defenses and can get aggressive, and sometimes it gets painful even late in life and they can develope aversions to textures. I'm glad this is not the case with you but it still makes your situation baffling. I hope a vet can diagnose a problem so your kitties behavior can get back to normal.

Get him to the vet. Put it on a credit card or something. If you can't afford it try a shelter.

ok i dont mean that i actually throw him on the floor...just pick him up and let him down on the floor....
