Excited To Know Sex Of New Kitten

Hi ! So this little cutie showed up on our porch and my husband and I fell in love with him (hopefully) and decided to keep him. He makes cat number 5. We already have 3 females and 1 male so I am hoping he is a male. We decided to name him RANDOM because he just randomly showed up. I hope this picture is clear enough for you to help me with determining the sex. He does have a vet appointment but I am eager to find out now instead of waiting. Thanks in advance

I’m leaning towards female but with tabbies it can be hard to tell. Is the opening a slit or a dot?

lacy2000 I think Random is a female. It's a slit.... not a dot.
She will still be loved. Was just hoping for a boy this time. All of my cats are rescued.... so I never actually wanted a particular sex. She looks like my Frankie with the same coloring so it would of been cool. My girls are all orange and white tabby.

It does look like a slit but the distance is wide (like a male) and it looks like those dots are where his testicles will come in. Although sometimes female tabbies have dots there too. So I'm just not sure, but I'm leaning toward male. You'll know soon enough, when the testicles either drop or don't .
