I came home from work and found my baby had puked all over the house which then turned in to foaming at the mouth and lil foam trails all over the house. I am guessing the puke turned in to foaming because he had nothing left to puke up. He was hiding from me and I immediately took him to the ER. They found nothing wrong with him after an abdominal xray some blood panels, blood pressure......flushing.....ivs..... They did notice that he was somewhat disorientated and his heartbeat was at 100 and I guess for cats it should be at 200. He only puked one more time at 6am. After a day and a half the vets said to take him home because he was getting pissy. lol (which was good for him I hope he got the vet that made his butt bleedy from them sticking the thermometer in his rear all night and day long!)
He saw four different er vets and only one of them said that they noticed a murmur only once, but that murmur could be from the cat being stressed so they were not sure. The same vet told me to keep in the background that he might have heart disease. (the 3 other er vets did not tell me this) My cat is 3 years old and I feed him good food. He was wild for 6 months of his life, but his shelter mommy said his test came back fine and he was healthy. I always got the impression that he was sickly when we first got him because he had diarrhea so horribly (which I took him to the vet for and after many test they found nothing) and bald patches from fur missing on him. I also noticed after we had him home for a while that his legs tremor and his back leg sometimes seems to go weak and then he becomes clumsy if he is trying to use the leg that goes weak.
I know you all are not vets and I am not asking for medical advice, especially since I take my baby to the vet, but I was just wondering if any of you had been in a similar situation or what I should maybe research more and discuss with my vet. Also, I am very upset about the situation so please don't come into my thread and post anything off topic or other than what I have asked. I want help not a lecture! Thanks so much for anyone who helps out!
