And then there was the morning that Ginger dropped one off right outside my bedroom door for me to step on first thing in the morning...

Looks like it might be time to give Trout a little bum-fur trim?

I have to get my roomie to hold her down so I can get her bum fur with the clippers.

She doesn't enjoy it, of course, but she likes not having dingleberries.

Actually, now that I think about it, she hasn't had one in a REALLY long time. I wonder why that is?

well, Cable only gets them when her movements are on the soft side. maybe Ginger's had really firm stools lately?

I grabbed a paper towel..and took it off and she meowed in disapproval

Anyway, it was her first one...hopefully there aren't too many more
LOL Try having 3 Longhaired 7 week old foster kittens! They are awful about getting poop in their fur. Im always having to clean them up. Good thing all Trout did was just meow. Ive been bit and scratched for doing that by many cats. LOL

Well, I HAVE changed the dry they eat - used to be a Nutro blend and now it is mostly grain-free with Royal Canin Adult mixed in...so it could be a difference based upon the food change!

I'm not complaining, mind you.
