I mop my floors with a couple of drops of eucolyptus oil in the bucket and am worried this is dangerous to my cat Lucy.

She loves the smell and rolls around on the floor like it's catnip or something, but I have been reading it could be toxic. Does anyone know if it is toxic in this small quantity and not ingested?

No Eucalyptus in this small amount is not toxic. Many people also use it in kitty and dog shampoo.

Here's some info with its application in regards to the shampoo.

Eucalyptus- Extract of the leaves of the eucalyptus tree. Eucalyptus has many uses in the personal care industry. It is used in perfumery, and widely used in medicine. It is a natural antiseptic and is also used in inhalation therapy. When blended with other personal care ingredients it will soothe the skin and have a positive effect for non-specific dermatosis. Excellent when formulated as an ear cleaner and therapeutic treatment of ears. Will kill ear mites, although some government agencies restrict label verbiage.
