Who is Santo named after?

When you said "Ernie and Santo," I thought "Johnny and Santo!"

Just guessing here, but given the Cubs fan we seem to have here, I'm gonna have to guess Ernie Banks ('69 cubs!) and Ron Santo (3rd base?). I don't have a clue about baseball, but I grew up in the Chicago burbs and Gary grew up downtown. He was 7 in 1969 and used to skip school all the time to see the games.

He says Ernie Banks was one of the greatest 1st basemen ever. And that Ron Santo was one of baseball's greats - "certainly a hall of famer!"

So orltwa - just a Cubs fan, or originally from Chicago?

And I didn't mean to speak for you - but is hubby right?

BTW - your boys are really handsome! They both look soooooooooo especially soft and have gorgeous coats.
