I can access the Internet from work, but only do so during my lunch break, or before or after school, so I don't use "company time". The only times I've ever accessed TCS, etc., during "class time" were when I got stuck doing unpaid overtime because I was available to monitor make-up tests.

Lately I've been on the internet more and more, due to my job slowing down rapidly - in the winter the lab doesnt get a lot of samples because people don't want to go out and sample anything. In the summer, you don't have time to breathe. I don't know how many hours I really spend online each day though. I've got to be quick about it - they don't really LIKE people on the internet during work hours. My computer is the only one in the metals lab with internet access and I don't want to lose it. I'm always looking in the reflection across from me to make sure my boss isn't at the window between the lab and office
