Hello, I've been reading a lot of helpful information on here for a few months now and finally decided to join you all and be active, or semi-active.
Probably the main reason I started looking for information on here was because we took in a tiny kitten that my husband found in his truck-yard, and since it had been 15+ years since I'd raised a kitten, I wanted to get some other real-world perspective on what we should do in addition to the vets' advice...
Our kitty family:
Mercedes: 17 y.o. deaf white senior lady with some issues (have looked on here for help recently!); had her since she was 2 years old....
Fancy: jet-black zaftig former backyard stray; approx 10.
Coby: 13-14, adopted last summer thru a local rescue; big orange tabby boy
Jordan: 13-14 adopted with his brother Coby above; orange/white tabby who lived with Coby in a home their whole lives until their family moved away.
Ziva: 6 month old female tuxedo kitten mentioned above - also some health issues I've researched on here.
In the last four years we've said goodbye to Xena, Scooter, and Scrappy who are at the Rainbow Bridge and always in our hearts (that's Scooter and Mercedes in my avatar).
