We had to take in my brothers' Cat, Eli, because his wife is having health problems related to his presence. He's blind, his eyes are gone because of an infection he had as a kitten - they had to be removed. He's one of the sweetest cats I've ever met and he gets around pretty well despite his disability. My Cat Lizzie is not at all happy about his presence but I'm hoping she'll get used to him eventually.

As a side note, his name comes from the movie titled "The Book of Eli."

She'll get used to him. Both times I've introduced new cats to each other there was some brief mis-trust going on but it faded pretty quickly.

Good on you for taking him in!

We've had to introduce a new kitten to her before, and she adjusted pretty well then. I'm hoping it'll go just as well this time. Mostly she just hisses at him. Nothing worse, though, which I'm glad about.

Very good of you to take in this sweet kitty.  I hope the adjustment between cats goes well.

Thanks. I'm sure once sufficient time has passed it will all be fine.
