I am concerned about you and Eek.
Do you have an update?
Do you have an update?
I hope things work out for little Eek. It's tough sometimes to put a cat through the ordeals of painkillers and surgery and all the veterinary work... but I've always believed that if there's a chance at a better life for the cat, a chance for that full recovery and wonderful pampered life, then we should do whatever we can, whatever is within our ability.Originally Posted by newcat19
hmm... well I'm sorry but.
am I the only one who thinks this cat should have been put down.
I believe in many cases humans should be allowed assisted suicide also.
If an animal is suffering, I'd rather just see it put down. It can be hard to
say how the animal will recover. Also you can't really imagine the pain he
could be under.
Wow that was harsh! If one of my children was in an accident of some sort I would do anything I possibly could to make them better, same goes for my cats! If there is a chance of survival with a healthy life to lead free of pain and full of happiness Im sorry but Im going for it! We all have seperate opinions, Im not against putting animals down when needed, If you look through some of my past entries Ive done it when the time was right! So I understand your opinion, I just disagree with it in this case, especially cause it hurts to have someone tell you that you did it wrong!Originally Posted by newcat19

I'm not really in favor to preserve life in animals or humans if it entails too
much suffering. I hope you cat makes a full recovery.
Thank you! It is tough to put him through it but I have an awesome update ya'll!!Originally Posted by meowqueensdaddy

We had a dog get hit by a car but she died in my dads arms before we even could call a vet.
We would have done anything to keep her alive just like you are doing with Eek,
I will keep you posted every step up the way now that my hands are so fried! We really are blessed to have such medical advancements now days! It makes it alot easier to treat a member of the family when things go wrong like with poor Eek! He's had alot happen to him in his life and he is just as tough as nails!Originally Posted by Meowers
