Eats my earwax?

Anyone else have a cat that licks them in the ear? Mine does it to wake me up sometimes.... not sure if it's because she's hungry for brains (or earwax) or if she just knows it's an effective way of waking me up. But she doesn't do it every morning, maybe only when my ears are especially smelly?

I've wondered this too! I sleep with earplugs and he likes to take them out of my ears and chew them!

My Miso loves ear wax! She will root thru trash and eat q-tips and actually clean my ears for me. She has a remarkably soft tongue for a cat, so it's not painful. It's just weird. I didn't know if it was a cat thing or not, cuz the other 4 cats I have/have had showed no interest.

I had a cat before in my life who would do this, and one of my current boys will. Sable knows the sound of when I'm scratching in my ear and he perks up and comes over because he wants to clean my finger. Weirdos.
