I recently brought my barn cat into the house and she is doing well (currently confined to 1 room). I am using Worlds Best Litter and when I poured some in last night she rushed over to eat it! I quickly gave her some food to stop her but now am worried that she might be eating it as it is made from corn. Should I get a different litter just in case and if so which would be best? I am feeding her canned food and was disappointed to see carrageenan (sp) in the ingredients which I understand is not good for their tummy. TIA brit

I would try a different litter. My cat loves corn, when we had chickens he was always trying to steal their food. So I know he would probably try to eat any litter made out of that too.

I’m not a big fan of litter made from food... seems quite strange to me. I would try something else. If you’re looking for something natural that can be composted and clumps, okocat wood clumping litter is a very good one.
