I'm pretty sure my boy Mosby is just a regular domestic shorthair but you never know I guess and also I was wondering how you would describe his colouring? Mostly, I just wanted to post pictures of his cute face

Mosby has a glorious Red Mackerel Tabby and White coat, with wonderful depth of color. I just love a red like that, and it looks so great contrasting with the white.

and yes I forgot to add that you're right that most likely he is what is often called a "Domestic Shorthair" of the Western race of cats. so the breeds he would be most similar to would be like American Shorthair or British Shorthair, which came originally from the random-bred populations of those cats.
