:hellosmiley: Amber Lynn, welcome to TCS!

Do you have a photo to describe what you are trying to tell us? A visual would be a better help for members so they may know exactly what it is and may be able to advise you on it. If really unsure, best is send a photo to your vet for a professional advice.

Ok, I'm just guessing it could be an allergy or bitten into something that cause the redness or she has an injury to the gum or tooth or scratched herself too hard.

Wait and see what others have to say.

How old is she? Has she had any problems with her mouth or teeth? Is she eating her food okay? Sorry for all the questions, just trying to narrow down the possible cause of the redness around her mouth.

She just turned 2 years old.
She’s Eating, Drinking, Playing, & Using the Litter Box just fine.
We were able to look into her mouth today. - Her gums, teeth, & inside of her mouth look great. (No sign of irritation anywhere.)

Well, just keep tab on it and make sure it doesn’t get worse or if she keeps scratching it as scratching will aggravate it to become a sore.
Also use a stainless steel or ceramic or porcelain plate for her to eat from as plastic bowls or plates harbor lots of bacteria and will cause feline acne.

Hi. Since I think you are saying it is on both corners of her mouth, and the fact that she chews on toothbrushes, I am guessing that is the cause. I don't know what type of toothbrush she is chewing on, but it if does no have extra soft bristles, I would buy one like that for her to chew on and keep your toothbrushes away from her to see if the pinkness disappears. If it doesn't, find a soft replacement chew toy and stop her from chewing on toothbrushes altogether.

I also found that some of the Scratching Post Rope on their Cat Condo is Coming Loose and Part of the Edge Looks A Bit Frayed.
She might be Chewing On That Too.

So, I Trimmed the Loose Parts Off last night.

Her mouth seems to be getting better rather quickly. 😊

It just concerned me because my kitties are Always Healthy. I’ve Never seen anything like this on my kitty babies.

But, my BFF has had 2 kitties with dental problems (teeth and gum issues).
So, it scared me quite a bit.

Thank You For All Your Help AND Advice.
