Sounds like a good plan.Originally Posted by T2daY005
I dont know if im getting the kitten from my friends mom. Since were getting a cat from PETCO. Dont worry.. Because its an adoption rescue in Petco. Petco sponsers them. Valley Stream Cat Rescue dosent have a shelter. SO they use petco. IM not sure on the age but im going to ask today.
Okay. Ill do Dry in the morning and maybe wet in the night. Im not sure.

You're generally better off avoiding the supermarket brands, and going with a better quality one from a pet store. The better brands are much more expensive at first glance, but because the recommended feeding quantities are smaller, they really aren't. You want to find a brand with mainly meat, and little grain or by-products. This thread might give you some ideas: http://www.thecatsite.com/forums/sho...6&page=1&pp=12Originally Posted by T2daY005
Oh okay. Whats the best brand for dry food? Meow?
Also, I would suggest that a kitten should get food specifically for kittens. They have a lot of growing to do and the kitten food is richer.Originally Posted by lionessrampant
I think that if you're getting a kitten, you should free feed dry and offer canned twice a day. Those little buggers need all the calories and energy they can get!
