Fiber is plant based so you will find it in instinct which is very expensive and is low carb. Hills prescription diet a/d is like kitty crack. Start by mixing dry and wet. Hope she feels

Dry Food - if so terrible, why do vets suggest it?

I’m assuming you disagree with the first portion of my post?
If you take a closer look, I didn’t say I agreed with the premise of prescription foods, just that is the justification that I’ve heard over the years.
The second portion of my post pretty much spells out the financial aspect being highly beneficial to the pet food industry, having their fingers in so many pies.
So, it seems to me that we might actually be closer in agreement than you realize.
