Hello. My cat had a mass in his ear removed, and has had a cone on for two months while we had to wait to get the money. Now he's in the home stretch of healing, but I noticed his skin is dry, flakey and even falling out in clumps around his healthy ear. Can this be caused by not being able to clean himself? How can I help prevent this from continuing? Thank you.

I would call the Vet and ask them what you can do since he's still in the healing stage.  A phone call shouldn't cost anything.  BTW, glad you were able to get this done
