Hi all,
Our 11 month old cat ate several pieces of foam rubber. She vomited up most of the pieces. She has not had a bowel movement in two days and is not eating. She has been at the vets all day where she received X-rays and IV fluids. The vet gave her some oral lubricant. He says the foam piece still in her intestines is trying to pass. While I'm thrilled to not have a $2k vet bill, I'm unsure if he's correct in waiting. How long should it take for her to have a bowel movement? Is there anything else I should do?
Thanks all!
