Last I checked she's a bit over 11 pounds, which is a pound more than when we got her in January. The vet is ok with that though, because if her thyroid goes out of whack again and she loses weight, she's got some room to lose while regulating meds again.
Aww, thanks! Yeah, she really is something. She's gotten a lot more affectionate during the past month or so, settling down on our chests in bed, purring in our faces and sticking her wet nose on our faces... She follows me around the house a lot too. She often naps on the Ikea chair foot rest thingy which we have by the front window for the cats, but if I go from being on the computer or something to sitting on the sofa, she gets up and jumps on the sofa to hang out. And if I get up, she often jumps down and follows me. It's really sweet.
She may have turned out to be an old lady with health issues, but I'm soooo glad we picked her! Well, BF really picked her, I was torn between her and 2 others, but we definitely made the right choice.
