The last few days when I got home from work or got up in the morning, the guest bathroom door has been open. I keep it closed now because Nero likes to get in touch with his inner dog and drink from the toilet. I've been wondering why Rob has been leaving it open - naturally assuming it was him because it's just the two of us and the cats that live there!
I keep the fosters in their own room at night, so they don't get into things and I can't keep my eye on them. Last night, I gave them their food, cleaned their box, gave each a spoonful of pumpkin, tossed Nero out of their room, and closed the door before going to bed. This morning, Rob gets up and I hear him say "That's weird." I open my eyes, and he points at one of the kittens laying next to Neko! Then the other kitten walks into the room!
We have found our bathroom door culprit ... NEKO!
He knows how to open doors, and apparently it's been him opening the bathroom door, and he opened the kitten's door last night too. That cat keeps me laughing for sure.
I also will give one of the kittens some props - although the litter box was a foot away and cleaned, one of them took some newspaper from our recyclable pile, put it on the floor, pooped on it, and put another piece of newspaper over the top to cover it.
