That happens to me all the time. I'll put something somewhere, make a mental note ("Okay, the Ipod is on this shelf") and immediately forget it. Then when I want the thing, I can't remember where I put it and I'll search EVERYWHERE. Then I'll give up and go without it. When I return, all of a sudden, there it is, in plain view. Infuriating.l
