Is it true if the food is super high-end (no byproducts, fillers, etc) like EVO and CORE your cat can safely be fed dog food? I know it's quite dangerous if you're feeding Beneful or something, but if this can be done, it sure would help my budget.

Cats have different nutritional needs then a dog does. One of the things that cats have to have is Taurine, without this important ingredient your cat could go blind. And if I am not mistaken that is something that is not in dog food.
