Interesting that your cats did it as kittens and then outgrew it, LadyHitchhiker. I don't remember ever seeing my Sarah doing it as a kitten--I've only seen her do it as an adult. She is on the small side.

LDG, the pic of Chumley in your signature at the end of your posts --well he's just precious! That face, with that expression!! What a cutie!

I'm so glad Chumley finds tail chasing so much fun since it sounds like he's had a rough time of it in the past!

All of my cats chase their tails at times. Cali is the scariest one because she has a habit of chasing her tail while on top of a 6' bookcase. I can't imagine why she hasn't ever fallen off.

On the subject of musical cats: Goldy sits on the strings in my grand piano and tries to catch the hammers while I'm playing. It makes some weird sounds when she plucks the strings in the process.
