My Daphne had her kittens last Friday, and I swear I couldn't see anything that looked like contractions--except that her hind leg did kind of twitch like that, and she'd change position immediately after that as if she was uncomfortable. Twelve years ago my Cuddles had a litter, and those contractions were really obvious, so I was a little confused by watching Daphne. But then Daphne's water broke, so I just went with it! So I guess there's a 'range' of how obvious the contractions are, and Skittles may indeed be having them. The hind leg kind of reacting up towards her stomach is a good clue.
