Does my cat have worms?

I recently just got this new kitty, Rusty a few days ago from a friend.
I noticed that his belly seems to be bigger for his size, could it be worms? I never saw any worms from his poo, his appetite is good and is eating a lot, he plays most of the time but he spends alot of time sleeping. Other than his bloated belly he doesn't show any signs or symptoms that he's in pain. What could be wrong with him?

It's possible that it's worms. I'd call the vet and see if you can drop off a fecal specimen for them to test or take him in for a fecal test.
