My cats are scratching furniture now and then, and though their claws are clipped, I'd still like to get them to stop. They have a good cat tree that they like to scratch too.
I have sprayed on a couple different "cat repellant" sprays that they seem to want to ignore, but today I purchased pure citronella from our healthfood store. I added a couple of drops to a small waterbottle and am thinking of spraying this directly to the places of the furniture that they seem attracted to. Will this cause fading of the colors or otherwise damage the fabric couch? And how much do I need to add per ounce of water?
