Does anyone here read "The Cat Who" books?

My friend who introduced me to these books said her son started reading them when he was about 14. They are really easy, light reading.

The first book came out in 1967 and she didn't start writing them again until the 80s. She also has a collection of short stories: The Cat Who Had 14 Tales

I just love these books - totally 'brain candy'. I have had a few on tape from the library and they are spoken by some bloke with a great voice (drat cant remember who ....Guidell?????) To lie in the bath listening to The Cat Who is bliss.
The first one I read was The Cat who Ate Danish Modern about 10 years ago and I have been quietly hooked ever since.
I never knew she was in her 80's but then I guess if you add back the years she has been writing these its obvious.
