Hi everyone!
Chewie, my 18 year old tabby, has a very wet/gurgle sounding purr. And when he's really "into it" he drools a lot. He's under a vet's care, as all my cats are, and is, in my vet's opinion a very young 18 year old and healthy. I know he has no breathing issues, and he only has the wet sound when he purrs, never when he's breathing. Just wanted to know if anyone else has a wet sounding purring cat? I wonder if the wet gurgle sound is just because he does not swallow when he's purring, like it either comes out as drool, or stays in there and "bubbles".
