Hi everyone:) wish you guys have a great weekend.

Here is my situation:

I told Dobby's vet that he (probably) had diarrhea

but not sure it's because of the diet switching or something else (his fecal is tested before, fine)

so the vet suggested to feed Dobby with boiled chicken (no skin, no bones) only this weekend

So I bought some chicken breast last night and cooked it this morning

I tear the big pieces into some small slices, just like in the canned food

But Dobby hasnt touched the chicken yet:(

Is there any way to feed him the boiled chicken?

Thanks everyone!:)

He might not realize that it's food. If you want, you can try human chicken baby food (the kind with no onions or garlic), which is basically the same thing, just a different texture.

OP's original thread about the smely cat bum and possible diarrhea is here: http://www.thecatsite.com/t/325808/smelly-kitten-bum

Try shredding the chicken pretty small. Maybe mix it with a little canned cat food.

Meat based baby food can be fed. These are the only safe ones to give to a cat: http://www.thecatsite.com/t/225595/anyone-else-have-an-only-gravy-licker/60#post_3749885

Don't feed either boiled chicken or baby food for more than a few days as that will result in your cat not getting any of the essential vitamins and minerals he needs.

I read the original, but it doesn't sound like there was any evidence of diarrhea in the litter box. I wouldn't withhold proper food from a kitten unless there was a problem.
