My 1st car, an '89 Chevy Cavalier, was called the "Bugmobile" because when it had belonged to my om, there were a bunch of really gross dead bugs in the back window. I immediately vacuumed them out, but kept the name.

My current car, a '98 Dodge Neon is called "Leon the Neon." My dad came up with it, and it made me laugh.

Well I've had a few cars my lifetime but have only named two...

My 1997 Pontiac Grand AM that I named Bertha. I loved that car right up until the time I caught sight of Beast my current car. 2002 Buick Rendevous Red.

I also named my Mom's car Burnehilda. Another Buick that I used to have to borrow all the time because the Grand AM would break down.

My dad has an old truck that he named Old Grey. Old grey is nearly retired but gets driven around down at our farm occasionally. Along with Blackie who I believe broke down last weekend.
He was a good old truck although he looked like someone took a baseball bat to him.

My beloved car
is called Dave Vegas!

He is a Vauxhall Corsa Vegas (Special Edition) and I loved the fact that he was a Vegas and English, so I liked the idea that he would be like a Bingo Caller from Blackpool or something!

some of these car names are great!! I esp. like "Luci" as in short for "Lucifer"
and the motorcycle "Bastet"
My family names their cars so my mom's Toyota 4-Runner is "Big Red" and my Toy truck was "Lil' Red" and my '89 Toyota 4wd Corolla Wagon is "Sport", and my husband's Chevy 3/4 ton, 4wd "yard mule" is "The Chevy" which actually implies the truck's personality - it hauls the firewood, makes the runs to the county dump & climbs up & down the mountains of CA, NV, & AZ with 'nary a complaint!!

From top to bottom:

"Vultor" (94 Firebird Formula)
"The Claw" (95 Eagle Talon Tsi AWD)
"Silver Bullet" (96 Camaro Z28)

I think all cars should have names!

My first car was a 94 Ford Escort hatchback, bright blue - no other name for it than the smurfmobile.

My current car a silver 2 door Civic is Bullet just bc when I got it, it seemed so much sleeker and faster than the Escort.

My friend had an 88 Chevy Nova that she used to call Puppy bc it needed lots of love and encouragement (it was so old and always breaking down!)

Ahhhh, another child of the 80's!!!

Can't name a car Bullet b'cuz that's my DAD's nickname (not many people know his real name)

The youth leader at my church (who's been youth leader since I was a youth) still has her 81 Ford pickup - baby blue w/white. She's SugarPlum, or SP for short. I remember more than one road trip with her patting the dashboard, saying, "C'mon SP, you can do it!!! Good girl SP, almost there!!"
