Do you think it's ok to buy a used Litter Robot?

There is a used Litter Robot on craigslist that is 4 years old. My cat is picky about cat scents and already marks in our bathroom because of a previous cat smell that is stuck in the grout. Do you think she would use the robot?

I wouldn't. If your cat is picky about smells, you may not be able to clean the pan good enough for your cat

And then I'd wonder what is wrong with the Robot if they are selling it? Does it work properly? Get stuck a lot? Motor about to wear out/break?

If you want a Litter Robot, I'd buy new and just save the money till you have enough to buy one.

Are they made of plastic? If so, I wouldn't get it as smells tend to stay in plastics no matter how you clean them.
