Yeah, it was great. Might go see it again with DH because he wants to see it, too. I'm curious, though, why do they do a short engagement in Chicago before going to Bway? Is it just to sort of test it out first?

Different song than what I had in mind.

No one's guessed this one. I know somebody knows it.

It's to work out the kinks out of town. It will change every day it's in Chicago, so if you go back to see it again, it could be totally different.

Wicked tried out in San Francisco-I saw it there and then opening night on B'way- it was very different.

Sounds like Wuthering Heights. I'm totally guessing.
This one is from "Side Show" based on a true story of 2 siamese twins who were also vaudville performers. The song is called "I will never leave you"

Good guess though...

Guessing again Lestat or Dance of the Vampires. It's not Dracula, I saw that one.
This song is "Moonfall" from "The Mystery of Edwin Drood". Totally bizarre murder mystery musical. The audience gets to vote on the ending each night! It's fun.

3 shows I've actually seen. Didn't remember the lines. Oh well.

ok here's more-

"I've stuffed the dallies in my shoes. Strummed ukleles, sung the blues."

"Alright already so call the policeman. Alright already it's true, too true."

"The way you wear your hat, The way you sip your tea. The memory of all that-"

So it looks like not even little miss NYC (just kidding, ckatz!!!) could get my stumper from about 7 pages back....

Those lyrics were from "The Last Five Years" which is a brand new, off b-way show, but from what I understand, it's also wildly popular in New York.

That was a stumper! I'm from the sticks, so I know all the, erm, classic musicals (i.e. old) LOL.
