Our first song is "His Cheeseburger" from Veggie Tales....except when I sing it, it's "Her Cheeseburger."


At our wedding we danced to a song called 'Not the I, but the You In Me" by my favorite group, Anointed. That song came out when I was about 13 or 14 and I loved it from the first I heard it. When my sister and I were listening to different CD's to pick a song to dance to (His Cheeseburger isn't too wedding appropriate, or slow dance appropriate!) I came to that song and actually started crying, so we knew it was the one! And DH went along with it!

I'd like to retract the above statement.

When I first said that I actually forgot that BF and I have a song. (I'm an excellent GF, aren't I?

) But then I got in my car this afternoon and started digging through cds. When I hit the Hedwig soundtrack I thought "OMG! We DO have a song!"

So my new answer is: "The Origin of Love" from Hedwig and the Angry Inch

Its one of the sweetest love... well, fables, if you will.... I've ever heard. IMO, if you've never heard it, the lyrics are definitely worth a look
