No shortage of men around here!

hehe.... sorry for sounding arrogant, but cats will always be part of my life and not one man has ever had an issue with them- in fact they always end up loving cats as much as i do

I also had a man before I had the cats. Though they ARE all male cats...maybe one man just wasn't enough.
Actually, DH got all three cats for me...so what do you suppose that means?

Every cat I've adopted has been while in a realationship.
My fiancé actually had cats when I met him, and three of our six are his.

The cats are still here, the man isn't. Tell you something?
Yep, me too. I dumped the guy and kept the cats.

There's no place like home
First there was cat. Then came husband. Husband left, cat remained.

Enter current hubby into the scene. He claimed he didn't like cats. I told him I wouldn't have a relationship with a man who didn't like cats. We got married anyway. Then came a couple dogs, a couple more cats, more dogs, more cats, more cats, more cats (you get the picture). Hubby is the best orphaned kitten bottle feeder that I know. He really likes cats now.

My SIL told me once that I should have children to curb my cravings for furry 4-leggeds. RIGHT (NOT)!!! I will chose cats over men, but have also chosen cats over kids.

I don't think that's a 100% true. I have cats and a man. So I guess thier not just for single females. Althought I'm sure people may get them to replace the companionship a significant other would provide.

Same here - I've gone from 2 cats to 8, since being married!! And I can afford much better cat food and fancier carriers too
